SUPPLY CHAIN AND PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Job Description

1. Ensure customer satisfaction: supervise day to day activities, anticipate customers requirements and maintain good relationships to all customer’s
2. Lead the logistics team (incl. warehouse, purchasing and delivery)
3. Optimization of all logistics and export import processes and cost control
4. Managing warehouse and transportation operations
5. Concentrate on product orders and inventory
6. Coordinate all communications with company and suppliers
7. Prepare management reports
8. Managing purchase, supplier development, administering and developing purchase system for direct materials as well as general purchase activities
9. Negotiations with local suppliers to deliver improvements to the operations in the areas of Cost, trading terms, product improvement and quality improvement
10. Ensuring that all purchase routines are executed in compliance with established procedures and to approve necessary follow up action in order to ensure material availability to support production process
11. Competencies required: leadership skills, dealing with ambiguity, adapting to change, priority setting, collaboration, influential, innovative, simplicity
12. Demonstrated understanding of general manufacturing and demand driven supply chain
13. In-depth understanding of supply chain processes including importation, warehousing & logistics, customer service
14. Must be able to work independently without supervision and over extended hours

Min. requirement’s:

1. Male/female, with max. 38 y.o
2. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related fields with strong numerical, analytical and communication skills and at least 7+ years of purchasing, logistics and export import or similar function experience in manufacture Industries
3. Willing to be placed in East Kalimantan (Samarinda)
4. have strong knowledge in managing large inventory and variety of raw material and finished goods
5. Tough personality, strong leadership skills, good communication, analytical skills and people development ability
6. have management experience demonstrating on-time delivery and improving the quality of logistics service
7. Excellent communication in verbal and written ENGLISH
8. Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
